- A spreadsheet with working formulas. Type in your opening balance and the money you expect in and out, and it works out your closing balance, how many months of cash you have left and whether your rolling 12-month sales are heading for the £90,000 VAT registration threshold.

- “What will this cost me in tax?”
- The tax calculators, which estimate on 2026/27 rates. Run them once with your current figures and again with the change you are considering.
- “What should I fix first?”
- The Wheel of Business, which covers nine parts of the business in a few minutes, including some you may not have checked.
- “Have I become the bottleneck?”
- The Leadership and Personal scorecards, in that order. They are most useful when growth is limited by how much you can do yourself.
