Each guide is written by an accountant who does this work. Where a guide states a rate, a threshold or a deadline, it links to the HMRC or Companies House page it came from so you can check it yourself — and so you can tell how old it is.
Tax rates move every April, and some move mid-year. We re-check the numbers in every guide when they do. If you find one that has gone stale, tell us and we will fix it the same week.
What these guides will not do is replace a conversation about your company. They are written for the common case, and the reason people pay an accountant is that their situation is usually not quite the common case.
